Jack & Slide Systems
Features:
- We use State of the art Jack and Slide systems. These heavy-duty mechanisms provide the most accurate method for moving, loading or unloading all types of heavy loads: Transformers, generators, compressors, pressure vessels and machines where a rigid load carrying track is required.
- The Jack and Slide systems are controlled by one operator working from a remotely positioned power units. Removing the need for personnel to be close to load when moving. No winch lines, no holdbacks and no heavy equipment required. Making this system, Safe, efficient and economical.
- Loads can be moved in either direction by simply repositioning the push cylinders. The skidding or rolling is governed by the output volume of the pump unit but is generally in the range from 1 foot per minute up to 6 feet per minute
Jack and Slide Procedure:
- Transport moves load in line to final destination will be
- Jack up load to allow slide beams to be placed underneath unit
- Shore up both trailer and slide beam not to allow movement when lowering unit onto slide rails and rollers
- Lower unit onto slide beams and rollers
- Final placement of slide beams, pads, and shoring are in place and anchored down if necessary
- hydraulically push unit into place of final destination
- Jack unit up off slide beams
- Remove slide beams
- Lower unit into final destination
Note: Safety blocking may be used between processes for added insurance and safe keeping
